Campground Review
Campground Highlights
Overall Rating:
Would we stay again? Yes
This was the first campground we ever stayed at in our new home. It’s one of two back-in sites we have had in our first 6 months of full-time travels, and the only one we had to do in the rain.
We stayed in a 44’ toy hauler with an F450 Tow Vehicle and 15 passenger van. 6 children with no other pets.
Review
This is a nice, well kept campground. It has a playground area for the younger kids, but no pool. There is a large pavilion for community gatherings, including a regular potluck. There is also a community room with regular scheduled board/card games and a lending library. During the summer months an informal church service is held in the pavilion.
The bathrooms are well kept but the showers are coin activated. The laundry room was nice with several washers and dryers.
All sites are gravel with a few trees. The campground is new so the trees are young and don’t provide much shade yet, but they will in a few years. All hookups are at the back of the site. Our site wasn’t large enough for both the truck and the van so the truck was parked separately from the camper, but still in the campground.
Cell phone internet access was strong on both AT&T and Verizon, although we only measured speed on AT&T.
We stayed for 2 weeks.
The campground owners are friendly and eager to help with any needs.
Kid review
The kids all liked the church service the most. The younger kids enjoyed the playground set.
