Travel Week #16 Year #2 (10/17-10/23) Vicksburg, MS
October visit with Togepi, she is doing well 
Took two afternoons to tour the Vicksburg Military Park and get Jr Ranger badges.
ChimSta drove to Hattiesburg to pick up a part for the camper.
Groceries and Halloween costume shopping.
Travel day #1 to Texas.
Second visit with Togepi. So glad we all got to go for the October visit. She is doing well in the program and has been promoted to Emerging Leader already.
The visit got a little long and some people needed extra space.

Union line looking toward the Illinois Memorial. Each state that had soldiers fighting here put up different memorials. That was of the biggest ones.

During the Civil War, there were not trees here. This is one of the few places today that you can see across the battlefield almost as the soldiers then would have seen them. The house behind the trees on the right was there during the battle. The house on the left was not.

Travel day back to Texas.
