Travel Week #17 Year #2 (10/24-10/30) Lake Conroe, TX
Travel Day to Lake Conroe was very hot.
More ant bites.
Life and school and swimming and groceries.
Potluck with fellow Fulltime Families.
Chores and baking cakes and picking up Lucario & Alakazam from the airport so they could visit us for the weekend!

Campground Halloween Festival with cake walk, costume contest, and trunk or treat.
Our campsite in Lake Conroe, TX was not at all level. Our driver’s side wheels were off the ground when we leveled.
Our front landing gear was down so low we could not use the jack blocks that we normally use.
Our stairs were so low we had to dig out a dip to get them to go low enough.
Roselia’s bike tire spontaneously popped after unloading. We were inside and didn’t know what the loud pop was! Our neighbor came out and wondered if a gun had gone off. We later found out when we tried to replace it the the inside of the wheel was defective and had sharp screws exposed.
This is what PsyDoug’s body does with ant bites 🙁 He got a few more while setting up at Lake Conroe, and is slowly healing.
Exciting morning! Nobody else in the campground was too excited about it. We did head to the bathhouse in the pouring rain when the wind picked up suddenly. We were the only ones there.
Loudred getting a chance to shave for the first time. No more chin hairs and the mustache is gone.
Clean shaven.
A car fire that PsyDoug, DestinEevee, and Loudred got stuck behind when they were running an errand. They had to wait for all the emergency vehicles to come and go before they could get home to get ready to pick Lucario and Alakazam up from the airport.
Munchlax got to sleep on his own little bed on the floor so that Lucario and Alakazam could have beds while they visited us.
Happy Birthday Lucario. (We celebrated early)
26th Birthday! He had Texas Sheet Cake (because we were in Texas!)

The campground had a mini-golf course, so of course we needed to play some!

Lucario picked hot dog wraps for his birthday meal with us. Alakazam chose lamb chops for supper but I didn’t get a picture.
