Travel Week #27 Year #2 (01/02/2022-01/08/2022) Laurel, MS & Grand Bay, AL
Cold and rainy day at a new campsite for two nights.
Monday we dropped Momo (the camper) off at a local dealer for warranty repairs on our slide out. We also dropped the truck off for the week to get it’s own warranty work and a slow tire leak repaired since we weren’t going to have the camper for a week.
We stayed at a little AirBnB and didn’t do much. Doug was still recovering from his bug and I was feeling weary and worn out.
The kids watched a lot of Disney+ since we don’t have a membership of our own.
And we had a BATHTUB for the week!
The travel day on Saturday was intended to be to pick up Momo, but on our way there we got a call from the dealer that it wasn’t ready yet! This meant scrambling last minute to find a different AirBnB for an extra week. Thankful to find something in our price range in Gulfport, MS.

Long but narrow site. Our front yard only went to the trees, about 3 feet in front of our slide. It was only two nights in the cold and rain, so not a problem for us.
Our landing gear sank at a weird angle because of all the rain that weekend.
Dropped off Momo for warranty work and on our way to an AirBnB near Mobile, AL for the week.
Our AirBnB in Grand Bay, AL. It was so nice to have a bathtub, even though it was only one bathroom. And so much space with three bedrooms!
DestinEevee spending some time getting sunshine and playing her guitar.
The kids spent a lot of time watching Disney+ since we don’t have it at home and it was chilly that week.
Mississippi Pot Roast even though we were in Alabama. The main difference is the pepperocinis and ranch seasoning. Not a big fan.
Returning to Mississippi before we found out that Momo was not ready yet. We picked up the truck that had been getting service work done for the week and found a different AirBnB in Gulfport, MS to head to for the week.
