Travel Week #36 Year #2 (3/06-3/12) Madison, FL (Ragan Family Campground) FULLTIME FAMILIES REUNION RALLY WEEK!!!
We had started our adventure with the plan that we’d go to a rally within our first month and then do a couple each year.
Due to all the cancellations in 2020, this is finally our FIRST rally!
Registration filled up quickly and we were on the waitlist.
We didn’t find out we could get in until some time mid-late January.
So glad we finally made it Registration, family photo, pizza party and get-to-know-you campfires.
Coffee talk, kids activities, group photo of about 88 families (estimates about 350 people!), another campfire, and teen night.
On-site service projects, playing at the campground, and Mom’s Night Out (about 70 ladies at a local restaurant).
Swap Table, Coffee Talk, Rain Delay, bake banana bread, Rally Marketplace (where Doug was interviewed in a previously posted video), and Hardy Boys family read aloud to relax at the end of the day.

Cleaning up a wet back room required throwing out the old carpet that we hadn’t planned on keeping more than a month, kids activities, teen Bible study, an excellent Talent Show, and another stormy night.
Family Games (maybe my favorite part), campground fun and train ride with the squirrel mascots, closing ceremonies, and Dance.
Wow! It was an overwhelming, FUN week.
Lots of friends and memories made.

PsyDoug and Muchlax set up a table at the Rally Marketplace to try to sell some Auto Fireballs. No sales but lots of interest. Munchlax’s two friends Ricker and Rowan stopped by to watch the video.

Thursday Kids Marketplace at the Rally.
Woke up on Friday morning to wet carpet. There was so much condensation built up along the back wall that it had accumulated into a big puddle. We had to throw out our original carpet that we had expected to put down and keep just long enough to get something better almost two years ago.
The shopping center next to the Winn Dixie that we had gone to the week before had a big fire. It was a major disruption for most of the campground because the grocery store had to close for several days.
STEM activities

We also had some interesting weather!
The Spanish Moss and branches came down out of a tree and landed right in between the two vehicles. One branch landed on the van’s windshield, but we didn’t get any damage.
