Travel Week #8 Year #2 (8/22-8/28) Hattiesburg, MS
Short travel day and packing to stay in cabins for the week while Momo goes in to the dealer for warranty repairs.
Swimming in a salt water pool.
BIG family talks with LOTS of feelings.
Fishing and karaoke.
Preparing for approaching hurricane.
Another travel day, another new to us state.

Pulling in to KOA campground in Hattiesburg, MS. There was a one lane road about the pond to turn around on the other side before driving back to our site on this side. Notice the No Swimming sign – Alligators May Be Present.

Swan Goose. The warning when we arrived was NOT to feed any of the ducks or else they will come out of the woods like a horror movie.

Sudden rain storm caused steam to come up off the roof of the building next door only minutes after we got settled.

Inside our cabin while the camper was being repaired. We stayed in two different cabins for 4 nights. This was the large one where 5 people stayed.

Preparing for Hurricane Ida to arrive. We carefully watched the forecast because we were set to travel two days after this.

Cabin #10 where Roselia and ChimSta slept, but we spent most of our time in the bigger cabin with the others.

Cabin #2 in the center is where PsyDoug, DestinEevee, Loudren, Squirtle, and Munchlax slept. It’s also were we spent most of our time and cooked.
